To the FormLenzing AG
The Lenzing Group is a globally operating company that produces fibers from wood in a resource-efficient manner. These fibers serve as raw materials for textiles, nonwovens, and industrial applications, and are used in everyday, protective, and work clothing, as well as in cosmetics, hygiene products, packaging, and technical applications.

Implementation of SAP Management of Change (MoC)
The Challenge: Digitizing and Automating a Global Management of Change Process
Lenzing AG introduced SAP Management of Change (MoC) to digitize a previously manual and paper-based process, enabling a more efficient and secure approach to managing changes. Together with SI PRO GmbH, a tailored concept was developed and implemented to map various customer-specific change types and context-dependent change activities within SAP MoC.
The solution allows for the use of existing master data from multiple SAP systems, supporting a streamlined and effective change management process.
The Solution: SAP Management of Change
SAP Management of Change not only offers seamless integration with the core ERP system and other SAP components, but also provides a user-friendly and highly configurable solution featuring a sophisticated lifecycle and task management system. These advantages are leveraged by Lenzing AG: SAP Management of Change was implemented in collaboration with SI PRO GmbH to digitize and optimize the analysis, approval, implementation, and documentation of technical and procedural changes, recalls Mr. Karlsberger (Team Leader Global Process & Information Technology).
Workflows delivered as part of the SAP standard, along with those developed by SI PRO GmbH, enable automated status changes and notifications to effectively complete review, approval, implementation, validation, and verification activities. The implemented approval concept, including status cross-checks and decision gate activities, supports the controlled execution of various types of changes. Through standard integration with the Business Rule Framework BRF+, SI PRO GmbH and Lenzing AG were able to develop rulesets that dynamically determine activities and responsible persons — based on questionnaires, change request data, and other data already available in SAP.
