SI PRO started with a Fit/Gap analysis based on real-world safety processes: risk assessment, measure management, safety briefings, accident management, hazardous substance management, and record-keeping. Existing Excel lists, briefing records, organizational structures, and personal data sources were verified against existing SAP master data.
Subsequently, a target process was modeled in SAP EHS. Hazards, measures, operating instructions, briefings, and accident reports were linked to organizational responsibilities and roles. Interfaces to SAP HCM SuccessFactors, SAP PM, SAP DMS, and optionally to external documentation and training systems were planned functionally and technically.
